The software is a post-processing accessory to CT systems for use as an objective analysis of non enhanced intracranial and cervical spine CT images. Detection of intracranial hyperdense findings in head CT images and bone hypodense findings in neck CT images. The combination of acquired images, annotations and measurements preset by the radiologist are intended to intended to optimize the workflow, highlighting suspected abnormal cases to help the radiologist prioritize the worklist

  • Indications For Use: Intended for use as a computer assisted workflow prioritization/triage device that allows the processing, review, analysis, prioritization and communication of CT images. The software is a post-processing accessory to CT Systems for use on non enhanced head and neck CT images. Aidoc's software is indicated for use in highlighting cases based on pre-specified criteria on radiologists’ worklist. The software detects findings that meet attributes pre-set by the radiologist, such as: (1) attenuation, (2) size, and (3) localization. The suspected findings are represented by key slice images that are saved in the PACS as an additional series in the DICOM case, and can be accessed by the radiologist for review. The results of Aidoc's software are intended to be used in conjunction with other patient information by qualified clinicians and based on their professional judgment. Aidoc's software is not intended to be used as a diagnostic device.
